WARREN, MI — Continuing its annual charitable tradition, L&S Home Improvements has once again provided a free roof replacement to a local Michigan family in need. The 2025 recipient, known for their positive impact on the community, had dealt with several home emergencies and was nominated multiple times by friends and neighbors.
The act of kindness was recently featured by WXYZ-TV Channel 7, shining a spotlight on the power of generosity and the importance of giving back during challenging times.
“We believe in recognizing people of high character—those who go out of their way to help others without expecting anything in return,” said Matthew Wojcik. “When we take the time to notice the good in others, it motivates more people to step up. Making an impact like this—especially when times are tough—reminds us that giving is what strengthens communities.”
