First, we help you understand what the final result will look like before the installation even begins via CertainTeed’s visualizer tool.

Then, we’ll meet with you personally to understand project requirements, including budget. Once we understand these requirements, we’ll help you find a siding option that meets both your aesthetic and budgetary needs.

Once you accept our quote, we’ll start the project by ordering all of the necessary materials.

After we receive the necessary materials from CertainTeed, our work begins! On the first day, we’ll remove old siding, repair or replace damaged wood as needed, and install foam and house wrap to provide protection during the project.

When site preparation is completed, we’ll install metal starter strips, which are the best foundation for siding projects. We always use proper channeling and clean aluminum metal work to ensure the final result is beautiful and defect-free.

Then, we install the siding, making sure to deliver every nail by hand. This step is especially crucial because Michigan experiences extreme temperature lows and highs, causing the nails to expand and contract. If the siding doesn’t also expand and contract with the nails, it will eventually warp, and we want to ensure you enjoy your siding for many years to come. We also use an Equipter to catch old siding and debris because we believe in mess-free construction.

After the installation, we’ll perform a final walkthrough, where we review our work with you to ensure you’re 100% satisfied and to verify that your property is clean and debris-free before we leave.
